I am Russ’s wife and we’ve been together since 1982 when we first met at what used to be Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. I actually started at State Farm before Russ, I was hired to work in the Data Processing department and moved through the ranks for 13 years before I decided to stay home with our two kids. I’ve had great jobs ever over the years—stay at home mom, kindergarten aide, substitute teacher, embroidery & ETSY shop business owner, and part-time & full-time working at Russ Weyland State Farm. I believe in State Farm and while insurance isn’t glamorous, I’ve seen the relief in our customers when we’re able to help them if something bad happens.
